heal your inner mama

Therapy for Moms in Georgia & Florida

You want parenting to be easier.

It’s like things are harder than they used to be.

Maybe you hear your parent’s voice in your head when you’re frustrated, or you find yourself responding in ways you swore you wouldn’t. You’ve always felt responsible everything and everyone — and the responsibilities keep adding on in motherhood. And even though you know it’s a lot, you feel guilt creep in as if you’re not doing enough. You’re having a really tough time, but that voice in your head says you’re supposed to keep it all together — that showing any emotion or admitting that this is hard or that you’re overwhelmed — would be mean you’re failing.

Sound like you?

Overwhelmed by constant demands

Struggling to find “me time”

Feel like guilt is holding you back

Feeling isolated in your journey

Here’s what we’ll do together

Therapy can help you find a way to make motherhood easier and prioritize yourself.

Therapy can help you untangle your thoughts and needs from others’, release the weight of unrealistic expectations, and create space to be kinder to yourself. It’s not about doing it all perfectly or even doing it all; it’s about stopping the constant juggle and giving yourself permission to pause. Through therapy, you can start to let go of the pressure to meet every expectation, allowing you to rediscover what truly matters to you and reclaim your well-being.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

By learning to set boundaries and embrace imperfection, you can create more balance in your life—no longer overwhelmed by the weight of doing it all, but empowered to show up as your best self.

FAQs

  • I use a combination of Internal Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to increase self awareness, self love and create necessary change.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative, evidence-based model that helps people heal by accessing and loving their protective and wounded inner parts. We believe the mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing. Just like members of a family, inner parts are forced from their valuable states into extreme roles within us. We also all have a core Self. Self is in everyone. It can’t be damaged. It knows how to heal. By helping people first access their Self and, from that core, come to understand and heal their parts, IFS creates inner and outer connectedness (Richard C. Schwartz, 2000). I am currently Level 2 Trained with the IFS Institute.

Attachment-Based Therapy explores how one’s childhood experiences might impact their ability to form meaningful bonds as adults. In attachment-based therapy, therapists work with people who need help rebuilding trust in relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy is an increasingly popular approach aimed at helping clients to increase relaxation while removing negative or stressful judgments. This technique helps to teach clients how to deal with emotional stressors reflectively instead of reflexively (Hofmann et al., 2010).

  • I generally recommend to work together for at least 6 months, but we can assess this more based on your individual needs. I want to meet you wherever you are in your life, and support you accordingly.

  • If you go to the “contact” page you can request a free phone consultation. During this consultation we will briefly review your needs, assess if we are the right fit for each other, answer your questions, and what the next step will be after that.
